At Streambuster, we develop unique software and hardware for a new generation of advanced TV for private homes. Our hardware architects strive to meet the high demands within the field of future technology.

Our Scandinavian industrial designers take pride in designing our products in such a way that they add elegance to any home. This combination provides you with the ultimate home entertainment system.
Organisation
Streambuster is part of the Danish development house Frontstairs, which also consists of the subsidiaries Zartego, SportsSys and Acrossmedia. The Streambuster headquarter is based in Loegstrup, Denmark.
History
In 2001 Streambuster took the lead within Video-streaming/Video on demand.
This was determined to be a revolution in the TV industry, namely TV and/or Video on demand over the Internet. At the time Streambuster managed the largest test in Europe with over 22.000 households.
Streambuster and Microsoft unveiled a new solution for Personalized Broadband Entertainment-on-Demand in Europe, and Microsoft was very enthused by our result (Read PR announcement). Some limiting aspects about the speed of the Internet combined with our solution resulted in some necessary observations regarding streaming of movies.
In the interim period we have improved the software and hardware for TV, creating solutions designed to give users access to all of the possibilities of the internet.
Alongside this, Streambuster has supplied Acrossmedia – Scandinavia’s largest full-line supplier of digital signage – with hardware and software designed specifically for marketing at retail, captive audience networks and in-store TV.
Solutions which require the highest possible level of security and quality. The first generation of our TV motherboard is installed in the flat screens, and we have transformed this technology to be integrated in solutions that suit modern TV viewers and ensure them an industry-based quality.
